The Orrick Bearcats won the last time they faced the Norborne Pirates, and things went their way on Friday too. Orrick put the hurt on Norborne with a sharp 46-26 victory.
Despite the loss, Norborne still got an impressive performance from Kottin McClure, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him.
Orrick's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Norborne, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Orrick will head out on the road to face off against Carrollton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Carrollton is ranked 492nd, while Orrick is ranked 498th). As for Norborne, they will be playing at home against Santa Fe at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Santa Fe is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
