Basketball Game Preview: Ocosta Wildcats vs. Mary M. Knight Owls + Official Tickets

The Ocosta Wildcats will take on the Mary M. Knight Owls in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Ocosta humbled Morton/White Pass with a 52-22 victory.

Ocosta found their leader in sophomore Sonny Beard, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 20 rebounds. Beard is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Logan White was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Mary M. Knight gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took down Non Varsity Opponent 55-40.

Ocosta's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Mary M. Knight, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
