Softball Recap: Wewahitchka Comes Up Short

Wewahitchka lost against Chiles back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Wewahitchka came up short against Chiles, falling 16-1. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wewahitchka saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lauren Brant, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Wewahitchka's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Chiles, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Wewahitchka is taking a road trip to challenge St. John Paul II at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wewahitchka's pitchers better be ready for this one: St. John Paul II has averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Chiles, they will welcome Florida State University High School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
