Basketball Recap: Kenedy Takes a Loss

Kenedy was the 47-45 winner over Refugio when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Kenedy Lions fell just short of the Refugio Bobcats by a score of 63-61 on Friday.

Kenedy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Refugio, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Kenedy Lions challenge the Yorktown Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Yorktown will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Kenedy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Refugio, they will venture away from home to take on Pettus at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Refugio is facing Pettus at the right time seeing as Pettus is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
