Concrete extended the longest winning streak in 1A/2B Northwest this week by beating Darrington, 39-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Seattle Lutheran took down Chief Leschi 53-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
LaConner's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Braves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sean Hulbert has thrown for 884 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Jamall James has 15 catches for 382 yards. Dahlton Zavala leads the league in rushing with 711 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when LaConner takes on the Loggers. The Braves' offense has scored 333 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Darrington has allowed only 87 on the year.
A big matchup in 1A/2B Northwest this week will be when LaConner takes on Doug Lenker's team. As it stands, Johnny Lee's team is in first, while the Loggers are in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Braves take on Darrington. LaConner has allowed 94 points this season, while the Loggers have given up 87. The Braves allowed 0 points last week as they bested Orcas Island.
Concrete made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,711 from 9,307. The improvement was the result of 39-0 victory over Darrington last week.
