Silver Creek waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Brocton Bulldogs get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. The Black Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Maddie Blair made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other pitching news, Molly Becker looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

Back at the plate, Kyla Ziegler was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Priya Sakpal was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.

Silver Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brocton only posted a batting average of .111.

Silver Creek pushed their record up to 6-3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Brocton, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
