Volleyball Recap: Wake Forest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wake Forest can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Topsail Pirates on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered since October 2nd.

While Wake Forest was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9, 25-22.

Topsail was led to victory by Hannah Gates and Audrey Johnson. Gates had 13 assists and six digs, while Johnson had eight digs and one assist. Charlotte Latta also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Wake Forest's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Topsail, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6.

Wake Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Topsail, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Chapel Hill on the 23rd.
