Basketball Recap: Montgomery Takes a Loss

Montgomery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. The matchup between them and the Delaware Valley Terriers didn't end well, with the Montgomery Cougars falling 40-26. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Terriers are ranked 113th).

Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Delaware Valley, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Montgomery won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Woodbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delaware Valley, they will welcome Middlesex at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
