Avya Mickel Game Report: vs Erie

McDowell came out on top against Erie on Tuesday thanks in part to Avya Mickel's efforts. Mickel was dialed in as she went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She played a big game the last time she faced Erie back in April of 2024, so the team probably should've seen her coming. That home run was Mickel's first of the season.

Looking ahead, Mickel and McDowell will challenge Hickory at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thanks in part to Mickel's efforts, the Trojans will roll in on a six-game winning streak.
