New Waverly came out on top against Trinity on Tuesday thanks in part to Kaelynn Stewart's efforts. Stewart scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Stewart's strong effort led New Waverly over Trinity and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
