Soccer Recap: Chief Leschi Takes a Loss

Chief Leschi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 13-0 to the Elma Eagles.

Chief Leschi's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Elma, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season.

Chief Leschi will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ilwaco at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. Chief Leschi will be up against Ilwaco's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.5 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Elma, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Raymond/South Bend on the 8th.
