Softball Recap: Bay Takes a Loss

Bay fell victim to North Olmsted and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Eagles. The Rockets were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Bay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caitie Petersen, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Petersen hit this season.

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Olmsted, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

While Bay had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
