Volleyball Recap: Gulf Coast H HEAT vs. Palm Grove Christian Gators
Gulf Coast H was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Palm Grove Christian Gators, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-8, 25-13.
Adam Rummings paced Gulf Coast H's offense, picking up six kills. Rummings got some help from Aaron Light and his seven assists.
Gulf Coast H's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Palm Grove Christian, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gulf Coast H will take on Keswick Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the HEAT surely won't give up without a fight. As for Palm Grove Christian, they will welcome Land O' Lakes Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
