Granby Memorial's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Jackson Rome, who passed for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rome has been a consistent playmaker for Granby Memorial as this was the 4th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/University Science & Engineering/Classical Magnet suffered a grim 6-35 defeat to Rockville. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/University Science & Engineering/Classical Magnet.
