Soccer Recap: Holtville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Booker T. Washington Magnet last Tuesday, Holtville came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Wetumpka Indians by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Holtville couldn't quite close it out.

Holtville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Wetumpka, they now have a winning record of 7-6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holtville will venture away from home to challenge Tallassee at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wetumpka, they will head out to face off against Smiths Station at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
