East Forsyth hasn't had much luck against Reagan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will head out to square off against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Reagan took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on East Forsyth, who comes in off a win.
East Forsyth is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Norman, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since September 18th.
East Forsyth took Lake Norman into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-13, 25-23, 24-26, 15-10.

East Forsyth can attribute much of their success to Maddie Fendley, who had ten digs and five aces, and Irelynn Price, who had 15 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Fendley has posted over her last six matchups.
They weren't the only good servers: East Forsyth was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are 12-4 when they serve at least ten aces.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Reagan and East Forsyth meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Raiders came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-16.
Despite the loss, Reagan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brielynd Riddle had 17 digs and three assists.
Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 24-9. As for East Forsyth, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: East Forsyth has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 12.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Reagan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
