After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Berkmar brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past the Peachtree Ridge Lions 6-1 on Friday. Considering the Patriots' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Berkmar's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Peachtree Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berkmar will venture away from home to face off against Meadowcreek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Peachtree Ridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Brookwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brookwood knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Peachtree Ridge likes a good challenge.
