In other batting news, Keani Scurlock-Slade was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Seven bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Alana Lee was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Ben L. Smith was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

Southern Guilford now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ben L. Smith, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
