Soccer Recap: Rush-Henrietta Comes Up Short

Rush-Henrietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Fairport Red Raiders. While losing is never fun, Rush-Henrietta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while Fairport are ranked 11th).

Rush-Henrietta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Fairport, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rush-Henrietta will welcome Hilton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hilton's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Fairport, they will be playing at home against Penfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
