York had taken Lancaster down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. York fell just short of Lancaster by a score of 2-1. York's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Cesar Mendoza, who's now up to eight this season.

York's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Lancaster, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-5.

Looking ahead, York will venture away from home to square off against York Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lancaster, they will host Indian Land at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lancaster is facing Indian Land at the right time seeing as Indian Land is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
