Soccer Recap: O'Gorman Comes Up Short

If O'Gorman was feeling good fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Rapid City Central on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights came up short against the Stevens Raiders on Saturday, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to O'Gorman of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

O'Gorman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Stevens, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. O'Gorman will challenge rival Brandon Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stevens is set to face off against their familiar foe Mitchell at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
