Volleyball Recap: Ola Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Eastside came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Ola, but Lily Powell wouldn't allow it. The Mustangs came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Powell, who had ten digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Ola never let Eastside on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-12.

Ola's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. As for Eastside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ola will square off against Upson-Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastside, they will host Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
