Softball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison managed to slip by Campus Magnet the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Edison lost 14-4 to Campus Magnet on Wednesday. Edison was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Campus Magnet apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Edison dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Campus Magnet, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will square off against Metropolitan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Edison will need to watch out since Metropolitan has now posted at least ten runs in their last six games. As for Campus Magnet, they are taking a road trip to take on Springfield Gardens at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
