Hartfield Academy won the last time they faced Jackson Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Hartfield Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-17.

Hartfield Academy can attribute much of their success to Logan Swan, who had nine digs and three aces. What's more, Swan posted two assists, the most she's had over her last six contests.

Swan wasn't the only good server: Hartfield Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jackson Prep only served three aces.

Hartfield Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Jackson Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hartfield Academy will challenge Pillow Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson Prep, they will take on St. Joseph Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots are facing the Bruins at the right time seeing as the Bruins are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
