Softball Preview: Pandora-Gilboa Rockets vs. Vanlue Wildcats

Pandora-Gilboa is on a seven-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Vanlue a nine-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. The Pandora-Gilboa Rockets will welcome the Vanlue Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pandora-Gilboa's offense. They came up short against Leipsic on Tuesday, falling 11-0.

Vanlue couldn't beat Arlington on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Wildcats lost 16-8 to the Red Devils.

Amiah Keathley and Alivia Otto did some serious damage despite the final result: Keathley went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run, while Otto got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Otto is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrienne Phillips, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
