Soccer Recap: Royal Palm Beach Gets the Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Royal Palm Beach walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Seminole Ridge Hawks a 2-0 shutout on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Hawks two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Sebastian Manjarres and Ramon Escalona scored both of Royal Palm Beach's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Royal Palm Beach's win bumped their record up to 15-4-5. As for Seminole Ridge, they moved to 8-9-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Royal Palm Beach nor Seminole Ridge have any future games scheduled.
