Lightridge managed to keep up with Riverside until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lightning lost 3-0 to the Ram. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lightridge of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Lightridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Riverside, they pushed their record up to 6-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Lightridge has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Stone Bridge on the 20th. As for Riverside, they will host Briar Woods at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Briar Woods' defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Riverside's offense will have their work cut out for them.
