After a string of three wins, Mandeville's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 7-4 to the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks. The Skippers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chipmunks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Mandeville's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Archbishop Chapelle, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

Coming up, Mandeville will take on Academy of Our Lady at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Skippers are facing the Penguins at the right time seeing as the Penguins are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Archbishop Chapelle, they will be playing at home against Hahnville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Chipmunks have won ten straight at home, while the Tigers won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
