The Hononegah Indians will head out on the road to  square off against  the Antioch Sequoits  at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Hononegah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season.
On Wednesday, Hononegah beat Belvidere North 7-4. The  win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Blue Thunder: they've now won seven in a row.
 Zoie Calhoun spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and three unearned) runs on five hits.
 At the plate,  Peyton Klikno was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while going 3-for-4. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high.  Aislyn Palmer also deserves some recognition as  she  brought in her first  RBI of the season.
 Meanwhile, Antioch waltzed into their contest  on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp  15-9 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Hononegah's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Antioch, they now  have a winning record of 6-5.
 Hononegah beat Antioch 5-2  in their previous meeting  back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
