Softball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Memorial managed to slip by Denison the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Yellow Jackets on Thursday, falling 16-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since March 29, 2025.

Memorial saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caiden Coleman, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Denison, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Memorial will be taking part in a tournament against Lancaster at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Denison, they will take on Lone Star in a tournament on Thursday.
