Westminster Christian has no trouble against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Archbishop Carroll, The Westminster Christian Warriors were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) 42-21. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Westminster Christian just coasted through the last quarter.

Jarvis Johnson was on fire: he rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last eight games he's played. Britton Bayag got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)'s defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Humberto Serrano, who threw for 194 yards and three touchdowns.

Westminster Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Westminster Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on True North Classical Academy at 7:30 p.m. on November 16th. True North Classical Academy will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
