Football Recap: Fairfield Christian Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Fairfield Christian Academy hadn't done well against Berne Union recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Knights put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 32-12 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won three matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Fairfield Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Brayden Stem threw for 250 yards and four touchdowns and TJ Blair gained 120 total yards and three touchdowns. Stem is becoming a predictor of the Knights' success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Fairfield Christian Academy's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Lucas Brinley and Kaeleb Debrah, who racked up all five sacks between them.

The victory was the third in a row for Fairfield Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 5-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.3 points over those games. As for Berne Union, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
