Buhler had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They never let the Circle Thunderbirds get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

Buhler's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Circle, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coming up, Buhler will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Collegiate at 4:00 p.m. As for Circle, they will head out to square off against Rose Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
