Basketball Recap: Pryor Takes a Loss

Pryor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vinita Hornets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-35 two weeks ago.

Pryor's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Vinita, their victory ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pryor will take on Will Rogers College at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Will Rogers College is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season. As for Vinita, they will square off against Oologah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
