Evergreen gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Windsor Wizards 1-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Nadia Leunig.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Evergreen will head out on the road to take on Northfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Windsor, they will face off against Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain View will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Windsor surely won't give up without a fight.
