Baseball Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Whitesboro Bearcats. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 16-3 to the Bearcats when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valley View saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keenan Kemp, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Kemp is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Whitesboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

While Valley View had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
