Palm Springs has gone 8-2 against Palm Desert recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Palm Springs Indians will welcome the Palm Desert Aztecs at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Palm Desert is hoping to do what Xavier Prep couldn't on Monday: put an end to Palm Springs' winning streak, which now stands at three games. Palm Springs claimed a resounding 56-29 win over Xavier Prep. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Saints are ranked 1057th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Palm Desert entered their tilt with Shadow Hills on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victor by a 68-42 margin over the Knights.

Palm Desert has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Palm Springs, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
