Rolesville won the last time they faced Wake Forest, and Jayvon Chestnut did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rolesville Rams strolled past the Wake Forest Cougars with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 72-53 thanks in part to Chestnut, who went 5-for-6 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in shooting accuracy (83%).

Another player making a difference was Chandler Mabry, who posted no points in addition to five boards and three steals. He has become a key player for Rolesville: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 9-12 otherwise.

Despite the loss, Wake Forest still got an impressive performance from Scott Jones, who went 10-for-18 to rack up 26 points. Jones' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Juel Tillery was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.

Rolesville's record now sits at 11-13. As for Wake Forest, their defeat was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-18.

Looking ahead, Rolesville will venture away from home to challenge Knightdale at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Knightdale will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Rolesville surely won't give up without a fight. Wake Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
