Football Recap: Curie Piles Up the Points Against Senn

Curie won the last time they faced Senn and things went their way on Saturday too. The Condors claimed a resounding 40-8 win over the Bulldogs. The Condors pushed the score to 40-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

The victory made it two in a row for Curie and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for Senn, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Curie will welcome Mather at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Condors 8, the Rangers 14.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Senn, they will face off against Chicago Sullivan at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
