Softball Game Preview: Lutheran South Academy Pioneers vs. Taft Raiders

The Lutheran South Academy Pioneers will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Taft Raiders at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Lutheran South Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Taft will be coming in after a loss.

Lutheran South Academy saw some tournament action on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over Ball.

Meanwhile, Taft didn't have quite enough to beat Plano East on Thursday and fell 4-3. The loss was the Raiders' first of the season.

Sophia Quiroz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Taft fell to 3-1. As for Lutheran South Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
