Volleyball Recap: Juniata Comes Up Short

Juniata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the WolfPack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

While Juniata ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-18.

Juniata's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-7.

Juniata does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, they will challenge Selinsgrove at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
