Baseball Recap: Gretna Comes Up Short

Gretna lost against Papillion-LaVista South back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dragons took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gretna's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Papillion-LaVista South, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Gretna wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 win against Gretna East on the 28th. As for Papillion-LaVista South, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-5 defeat against Millard South on the 28th.
