Mid-Carolina is a perfect 5-0 against Chester since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rebels will look to defend their home field against the Cyclones at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mid-Carolina is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 20-1 margin over Fairfield Central on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Meanwhile, Chester never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on Columbia with a sharp 19-0 win. The Cyclones haven't had any issues with the Capitals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Mid-Carolina's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Chester, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Mid-Carolina was able to grind out a solid victory over Chester in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 5-2. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Cyclones have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
