Taylor Quintana leads a balanced attack to beat Los Alamos

The Robertson Cardinals won against the Los Alamos Hilltoppers last Saturday with 48 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Robertson snuck past Los Alamos with a 48-42 win. The victory was nothing new for Robertson as they're now sitting on three straight.

Robertson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taylor Quintana, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Quintana is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Lovely Allemand was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Robertson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Los Alamos, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Robertson on the road again on Friday and play against Tucumcari at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Los Alamos, they will be playing at home against Santa Fe Indian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Santa Fe Indian is ranked 39th, while Los Alamos is ranked 48th).
