Basketball Game Preview: Idea Timberwolves vs. DC International Dragons

Two dominant guards in Chris Hinton and Gavin Moore are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Idea Timberwolves just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the DC International Dragons at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Idea had just enough and edged Maya Angelou Public Charter out 2-0. The two-point effort marked the Timberwolves' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DC International). They put the hurt on BASIS with a sharp 72-51 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

DC International has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Idea, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Idea strolled past DC International in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 62-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Idea since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
