Basketball Game Preview: Aragon Dons vs. Mills Vikings

The Aragon Dons are taking a road trip to challenge the Mills Vikings at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.

Aragon is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since January 17, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of El Camino by a score of 53-51. While the Dons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Colts 17-13 in the first quarter.

South San Francisco typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Mills proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 60-53. The Vikings didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Mills has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Aragon, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.

Aragon came up short against Mills in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 59-47. Can Aragon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
