Basketball Recap: The Weber School Takes a Loss

The Weber School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Walker Wolverines, falling 83-25. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Walker to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xavier Berry, who posted eight points in addition to seven assists and four steals. Berry has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Isaac Vroon was another key player, going 6 for 10 en route to 12 points along with six boards and four steals.

The Weber School's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Walker, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

The Weber School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-39 defeat against Paideia on the 16th. As for Walker, they will head out to challenge Atlanta International at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
