Basketball Recap: Communication Media Arts Comes Up Short

After soaring to 57 points the game before, Communication Media Arts was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They took a blow against the Renaissance Phoenix, falling 93-12. The game marked the Pharaohs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Communication Media Arts' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-10. As for Renaissance, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Communication Media Arts will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harper Woods at 7:00 p.m. on February 17th. Renaissance will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Detroit Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on February 21st.
