With a playoff win on the line, Everett rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Chestnut Ridge Lions by a score of 6-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won five matches in a row.

Everett pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Chestnut Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Everett will head out to challenge Tussey Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. Chestnut Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
