Proviso West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Downers Grove North, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-11 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Proviso West will head out to challenge Hinsdale South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Downers Grove North, they will venture away from home to square off against Proviso East at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
